Matt Holten leads club fitting at Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre with one goal: equipment that performs when it counts. 

As the former South Island Titleist Club Fitter, New Zealand amateur representative and touring professional, Matt brings tour-level expertise to every fitting. His deep understanding of ball flight, equipment and performance data has made him one of New Zealand’s most trusted names in custom fitting. 

Matt works with golfers of all levels to build setups that are practical, precise and built around the way they play.

Harry Smith brings tour-level fitting experience and a coach’s eye for detail to every session. 

After completing his PGA traineeship in Australia, Harry gained premium fitting experience with Pureform and coaching exposure at Metropolitan Golf Club, one of Australia’s leading facilities. 

With a background as an Otago representative player and years of coaching across all levels, Harry understands how equipment and swing work together. 

His approach is simple: use the data, understand the player and build a setup that improves performance and feel.

Bilingual in English and Chinese, Steven brings more than 12 years of playing experience and a precise, data-led approach to club fitting. 

Certified in Trackman, Sportsbox 3D and TPI Level 1, Steven uses leading performance technology to better understand each player’s swing, movement and equipment needs. 

As a player, Steven qualified for the 2020 NZ Open Regional Qualifying and recorded a personal best of 5-under across 36 holes, earning a local tournament victory. 

At SBC, Steven helps golfers make confident equipment decisions through clear analysis, practical advice and a fitting process built around performance.
